Angela Viola, BSc, BEd, and MET

Learning Design and Educational Development and Delivery Specialist

I have always believed that learning should be practical, relevant, and grounded in real human experience. I began my career teaching high school science before transitioning into post-secondary curriculum development. In that role, I supported program design, collaborated closely with faculty and subject matter experts, and contributed to the development of new courses and programs.

During my time in post-secondary education, I completed a Master of Educational Technology. I later returned to teaching as an online instructor and resource developer, further expanding my experience in digital learning environments.

Outside of my professional work, I am a parent to two teenage boys who keep me grounded. As a family, we spend as much time outdoors as possible, skiing in the winter and camping in the summer. I also enjoy creative pursuits, including pottery, baking, gardening, making kombucha, and upcycling household items.
