Dr. Sudha Koppula is a dedicated family physician who provides comprehensive, team-based care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. She values the connections built through continuity of care and the opportunity to support people through every stage of life. 

 

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Koppula is an academic family physician and faculty member with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta. Her teaching regularly brings her to rural communities in Northern Alberta, which are regions she appreciates exploring and learning from during each visit. 

 

Dr. Koppula currently serves as the Clinical Department Head of Family Medicine for the Edmonton Zone, Alberta Health Services. She has previously held leadership roles in Family Medicine at the local, provincial, and national levels. Through this work, she brings a systems-level perspective to health care, with a focus on aligning broader improvements with meaningful change in everyday practice.
